  1. I only know about the train from Florence to Rome because I was trying to find out the same thing recently in case we had to book them in advance (like the eurostar etc)

I was speaking to my travel agent, and we discovered the trains come very regularly so there was no need to. He recommended the websites

    www.railplus.com.au

    www.raileurope.com

    Hope these help!

  2. I am Italian and lived in Rome, check out the trains, good value for your money, especially Intercity or Eurostar, do not go for any other (slower) train...

Check out www.trenitalia.com they also have an english section

  3. Just show up at the train station.  The trains run very regularly and the stations as all very easy to navigate.  I know the Florence station has (and I think Pisa too) automated machines.  Click on the British flag for English then follow the steps to buy your tickets.  Very easy and convenient.

  4. go to www.raileurope.com

  5. You can find it yourself on the website of the national railroad company, Trenitalia:

    http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ferrovi...

You'll also be able to reserve seats and buy tickets
