How many cups of green tea I can drink in a day???does drinking a lot of that is harmful???what benefits does it have.??

  1. drink three cups a day and yes its very good for you...nothing harmful all natural...expecet dont driink it late if you want to sleep

Green tea is not harmful; it is very beneficial.  It helps you burn calories.  Actually, experts say that five cups a day helps you to burn 80 calories.  However, five cups is a lot to drink in one day.  I wouldn't recommend drinking more than that because you should drink plenty water throughout the day, too, for a healthy lifestyle.  Green tea is also noted for helping medical conditions, such as cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol levels, cardiovascular disease, and infection.  I've heard people say it helps you stay looking youthful as well.  

    The only negative aspect of drinking green tea is that it naturally contains caffeine.  Caffeine dehydrates you and can cause insomnia when consumed in large amounts on a regular basis.  So...buy green tea that is decaffeinated and it should keep you very healthy!

    I love green tea.  I drink the decaffeinated kind.  When I drink it, I feel so relaxed.  It tastes delicious with honey.  Enjoy!

  4. Green tea is very beneficial for us. However, it still has caffein in it so you don't want too much. 2 servings should really be all that is needed in a day. However, we can still consume more. I would not recommend having more than 8 in any one day. I also would not recommend doing that more than a day or two at most.

    Caffeine dehydrates us. It takes more water to process a beverage with caffeine than it gives. Plus since the water in a beverage enters our system quicker and goes through it quicker the caffeins is still in our system long after the water it came in with has gone.

    We need 1 ounce of water for every 2 pounds of body weight plus 8 ounces for every 20 minutes of exercise. Warmer areas may need a bit more too. So if you are drinking 8 servings of green tea a day that is 64 ounces, enough liquid for a 128 pound person but a bunch of caffeine. That leaves very little, if any, amount left over for regular water consumption to replace the water in our bodies that it needs.
