  1. I will save Cotto for last.

Paul Williams will get done like Corrales because of his speed. Williams is not ready mentally.

Oscar is one of my greatest fighter and don’t want to see him make a fool of himself again. Don’t want to see this fight again.

Ricky Hatton doesn’t want to see that again.

Cintron probably would put up a good fight in the beginning. Mayweather stamina and skills would show him why he's a D to C class fighter. PBF would take him deep and make him look bad. I like Cintron but don’t want to see this fight until he show more.

Quintana is a smart fighter but doesn't bring anything to the table. Yes, he beat Williams. We will see what he brings the next fight. Another D class fighter that will be made a fool of.

Shane would put up a better fight, because that’s some he have done his whole career. Lose are win, Mosley is going to put up a good fight. Shane would try to push the fight but gets out boxed. Mosley is a slow starter and will be out boxed.

Margarito is a brawler, no defense, slow feet movement and slow starter. PBF will make a fool out of him. Margarito will spend most of the fight mad, because PBF is pop shoting him and staying out of the way. Start crying for a rematch.

Cotto is good and very strong. Cotto lacks defense, weak chin, acts like his feet is in cement. Cotto will chase him all around the ring. Cotto stamina is not all that good. You find yourself losing early rounds; have to knock this guy out to win this fight. That is a bad passion. Pop shots to the head, clean shots to the chin, chasing down your opponent. You will get tired and he will make a fool out of Cotto and fans will be pissed off. Cotto is on the ropes because he's out of gas, finds himself on the mat getting up. Hoping the bell is on his side, hoping they stop if for water on the mat, if not, Mayweather knows how to finish you. He's not those other guy's.

  2. As good as he is Floyd can't fight all of them.  I only want to see two.

Cotto and Cintron.  A fight with Mosley would be interesting but would prove little.  The De La Hoya rematch is a waste of time.  I'm still hoping Forbes upsets Oscar.  I like Oscar bettter but it would destroy a rematch with Floyd which we really don't need.   I think most would agree that Mayweather-Cotto is FAR more intriguing than Mayweather-De La Hoya 2.

  3. 1.  Miguel Cotto- he is the legitimate number 1 contender to Floyd's championship.  I would favor Floyd over him because I think that he is just too skilled for Cotto in almost every aspect, but Cotto is very strong and if he can put enough pressure on him, especially to the body, then he can win.

    2.  Shane Mosley- they were supposed to have fought years ago when Mosley was a lightweight and Floyd was looking to move up from super featherweight.  I think that Floyd would beat him then and now, but it certainly is not written in stone.  Mosley is arguably as fast as Floyd and Shane always comes to fight, so Mosley has a fair chance against him.

    3.  Paul Williams- even though he lost to Carlos Quintana, I think that he'll beat him in a rematch and I think that stylistically, Williams poses the biggest challenge for Floyd.  Williams is extremely tall for a welterweight (6'2), has extremely long reach, and has a very high work rate.  If he came in to a fight with Floyd as motivated for his fight with Antonio Margarito, then I would give him a good chance at beating Floyd.  Although I would favor Floyd to win if he is able to get on the inside like Quintana did.

    4.  Antonio Margarito- he is a relentless pressure fighter that would be there all night against Floyd.  He has a good chance against Floyd because Mayweather is not a fighter who throws 100+ punches a round like Williams.  Still though, if Mayweather counters him effectively (which he can do), then I think it would be a hard earned win for Floyd, but it would be no easy task.

    5.  Oscar De La Hoya- I would actually like to see this to see what changes Oscar will try and make.  I don't think that he can beat Floyd, but its going to be interesting because his jab was working well in their first fight, but he just seemed to get discouraged because he couldn't catch Floyd and he just abandoned it.  He has a chance to correct his mistakes as long as he gets by Steve Forbes.

    6.  Kermit Cintron- a good physically strong fighter.  However, I think that he has too many mental flaws to be a serious challenge for Floyd.  When things aren't going his way, he will get discouraged (see fight with Jesse Feliciano) or he will crumble (see fight with Antonio Margarito).  Floyd would take advantage of his flaw and beat him relatively easy.

    7.  Carlos Quintana- a good hard working fighter who knows how to box and counter very well (see fight with Paul Williams).   However, as good as he is at those things, Floyd is better.  Quintana also cannot take body shots, which was shown in his fight with Miguel Cotto.  Even in the Williams fight, there was a round where Paul hit him hard to the body and Quintana winced and backed off for a second, but for some reason Paul never followed up.  Floyd is excellent at exploiting a weakness in a fighter's game, and he would exploit that weakness and stop Quintana by going to the body early and often.

    8.  Ricky Hatton- the first fight was so one sided that I don't really want to see a rematch, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen because of how much money it will bring in.  There is nothing that Hatton can do that will make him fare any better against Floyd, and the result would be the same, except maybe even worse because of how well Floyd improves against the same opponent (see second Jose Luis Castillo fight).

  4. 1. Miguel Cotto because he is the most natural opponent at the moment, and it would be a great syles matchup with the body punching presure fighter against the speedy slick defensive fighter.

    2. Shane Mosley as he is probably the #3 best fighter at 147.  He was the last fighter previous to Floyd that could be said dominated the division.

    3. Oscar De La Hoya, because I'd like to see what adjustments he would make for a second fight with Floyd.

    4. Paul Williams, just because it would be akward for Floyd to fight someone that tall and gangly that throws that many punches.  I'd be interested to see how Floyd worked his way inside.

    5. Margarito probably the #4 guy at welterweight.  I would actually cheer for Floyd in this one, because of all that Most Fear Man garbage Margarito talked a few years back.

    6. Andre Berto because he is the hottest prospect in the division and has great speed and power.

    7. Felix Sturm since he is the weakest of the 160 title holders, it'd be fun to see Floyd capture a crown in another division.

    8. Zab Judah, once again I would cheer for Floyd, and watch him whoop Judah worse than he did the first time.

    9. Joshua Clottey, cause I am a big Clottey fan and I'd like to see him get a chance.

Dont worry about the rest, Floyd would easily dispence with Cintron who is mentally fragile in the ring, Quintana fights a game much like Floyds but not was well.  Hatton would take another beating, though it might be interesting with a much more laxed british referee.

  5. 1.Miguel Cotto(simply the biggest and best fight that boxing can make, a puerto rican slugger vs american boxer, Great fight ithink that cotto would be the first to beat floyd)

2.Antonio MArgarito(a unknown fighter outside of boxing fans, a great fighter and throws tons of punches)

3.Ricky Hatton(great fans, great fighter, determined and would give floyd all he can handle again)

4.De la hoya(the fight would prob be the same as the 1st one)

5.Paul Williams(not big name, he is tall but lost all value and big fight when he lost and is not undefeated)

6.Cintron(cintron is not fast enough and loads up slowly and will not hit floyd and a bad chin)

7.Shane Mosley(2 boxers not big slugfest but a tough challenge for floyd)

8.Carlos Quintana(mainly not a good fighter destroyed by cotto)

  6. - Miguel Cotto1

    - Ricky Hatton6

    - Paul Williams3

    - Kermit Cintron2

    - Shane Mosley3

    - Carlos Quintana6

    - Antonio Margarito 9

    - Oscar De La Hoya 10

  7. Miguel Cotto - He is the legitimate number one contender against Floyd Mayweather he deserves a chance against the pound for pound king

Antonio Margarito- He is way overdue against floyd, mayweather could have fought him years back but he chose not to do so and i think margarito would be a valid opponent against mayweather

Oscar de la hoya and hatton, I 'd like mayweather to fight these two again so that the hatton and de la hoya fans in this forum will shut up once and for all.

quintana and cintron would make good opponents but i doubt that oscar would want to fight them as they can't generate enough buzz for the fight

mosley is too old,and mayweather would probably beat him,but it would be nice to see this fight

paul williams is too big for mayweather and therefore i doubt this fight would be a good choice for floyd.

  8. Miguel Cotto -1

    - Ricky Hatton-8

    - Paul Williams-7

    - Kermit Cintron-5

    - Shane Mosley-2

    - Carlos Quintana-6

    - Antonio Margarito-4

    - Oscar De La Hoya-3

I would like to see all of them vs mayweather actualy minus hatton nobody wants to see hatton fight mayweather again except his die hard fans. I mostly wanna see mosely fight mayweather because i think he has the best chance to beat him contrary to popular belief. Followed by Oscar with the 2nd best chance out of everyone to beat him. Then next I guess i go with Cotto just to see what Cotto is really made of and so all his fans shut up about him already , I mean I like Cotto a lot but people like worship him already and im sick of it . For shane and oscar i would be rooting for them to win but against cotto i would be cheering for mayweather. Those 3 i would most want to see fight Floyd .
