  1. omg you need to do your own homework. this is so easy why would you waste youre points on yahoo answers for something as simple as this if you could do this yourself with ease?

  2. can't be solved, can be simplified

    8*(-3)[2(5+3*(-3))]-2

    =-24/[2*(-4)]-2

    =-24/[-8]-2

    =3-2

    =1

  3. Ok!! I just had this lesson in Math yesterday!! Lucky you!

    1. Replace the X any Y with the numbers:

    8*-3/[2(5+3*-3)]-2

    2. By the order of operations, (PEMDAS) parentheses come 1st. And multiplication comes before addition so solve inside the parentheses:

    8*-3/[2(5+-9)]-2 THEN 8*-3/[2(-4)]-2

    3. Then solve inside the brackets:

    8*-3/[-8]-2

    4. By order of operations, multiplication and division are the same so do multiplication and division from left to right:

    -24/-8-2 THEN 3-2

    5. Then subtract and then you're done!!! Yay!

    1

1 is your final answer!!! Good think my teacher taught me that yesterday!!! Good luck!!!! :)

  4. 8(-3) / [2(5+3(-3)]-2

    -24 / [2(5-9)]-2

    -24 / [2(-4)]-2

    -24 / -8  -2

    3 - 2

    1

  5. 8 times -3

    divided by

    2 times:

    5 plus 3 times minus 3

    minus 2
