Mr. Y, the managing director of PQR Ltd. tendered his resignation to the Company on 6.5.2003, in response to which the company field From No.32 On 15.3.2004. The allegation against the company was that the cheques Issued by the company after6.5.2003 bounced. It was contended that MD is Liable for the offence and accordingly the complaint filed against the MD is Valid. Please State whether the contention is true or not.
