  1. Ok, I will try to keep it as small as possible.

Sun is emitting light and heat which is reaching earth, this heat is helpful for plants in photosynthesis and all animals to keep their body temperature normal, this is called GREEN HOUSE EFFECT.

It heats up the water and then we have rainfall and all different weathers.

Sun also emits Ultra Violet rays which are harmful for all living beans on earth OZONE layer on earth prevents this UV rays to enter earths atmosphere and thus saves us from being DEAD.

    I hope this helped you.

  2. the sun's heat which reaches the earth is not it's actual heat the heat of the sun will be above 2500c .the ozone layer protects us from the heat of the sun .the sun's rays also emit a beam of rays known as ultra violet rays which is harmful for our health .the ozone layer absorbs the ultraviolet rays andalso 99 part of thre heat of the sun and seds the required amount of heat and light to us

the green house effect is the result of certain gases in air .it destroys the ozone layer and causes many hazards to our health

  3. One thing you need to know first: the ozone layer has nothing to do with global warming. The ozone layer blocks out some of the sun's UV (ultraviolet) rays. UV rays have been proven to cause skin cancer and other skin diseases. The ozone layer depletes because of chemical reactions between it and the chemicals in many things, like asthma medicine. The greenhouse effect is when gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor trap excess heat in the atmosphere, making the world hotter. All the ozone layer does is block out UV rays, and only the greenhouse effect causes global warming.

  4. The ozone layer prevents the sun from burning us up. its kind of like sun block for the earth. The green house effect is the over production of green house gases that are eating away at the ozone layer. They are produced by the harsh chemicals we release into the air which is mainly caused by the pollution. The green house effect and the reduction of the ozone layer are the main causes of global warming. and as you may know: GLOBAL WARMING IS BAD!!!

    Hope I Helped =]

  5. well we need heat on our planet the sun shoots rays onto our planet and those are reflected off (a certain percent of them) with greenhouse gases they are trapped to reflect off thus for making the world hotter. also the ozone layer prevents us from being burned alive. when holes are made in this ozone layer it will become amazingly hot.

(when spray cans were released they released CFC's that would head to the northern atmosphere and would tear holes in the atmosphere. they still are today, these holes will allow the sun to start melting the polar ice caps. CFC's were removed later for this reason.)

basically the sun puts rays on the earth, the earth reflects them, green house gases trap them on the earth.

    - you should watch the core. that move has a fictional simulation on how the earth would be heated up if the athmosphere would tear in a speeding fashon.

  6. Ozone layer;O3 prevents the harmful utra violet rays that are coming from sun.It act as a protective layer to earth. It will radiate back the rays from sun.If uv rays reach here,it will cause skin cancer etc.Green house effect is the process by which the heat trapping gas CO2 it the atmosphere acts adversly.Isolated rays is a way through which the heat that is received by earth is returned. It will trap the isolated rays that go back and thus it will increase the heat in the atmosphere. This causes global warming.

  7. The ozone layer protects earth from UV light (not the suns heat).

Without the ozone layer UV light would damage exposed life (by breaking down biological molecules). This why scientist think life first evolved in the oceans, without plants to photosynthesise, there would not have been sufficient oxygen to form an ozone layer. Water absorbs UV light.

Greenhouse gases trap the suns heat, keeping the earth warm. This is regulated by the carbon cycle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_cycl...
