Please! WoW Free 10 day trial Help!!?

HEllo,

I HAVE just downloaded the WoW free 10 day trial on to my computer, off the WoW internet site, and im computer RUNS WINDOWS VISTA, well the problem is that when i open it, the agreement comes up, then it says "checking internet connection speed" or somthing like that, and then it just.....freeses. after like 1 minute, a message comes up saying" failed to read information from the internet. please close all applications and try again." but when i do it, with my applications closed, it still comes up. PLEASE NOTE, I HAVE CHECKED MY FIREWALL but i do not know what else to do!!!

Play warhammeronline, a much better game. ^_^

Try running in Windows XP compatability mode. It should be in properties when you right click the executable I think.

That is the tech support site for WoW. Do you troubleshooting there first before contacting blizzard.   I don't use Vista so can't begin to think what the problem could be.
