hey can anyone help me understand why i get these really bad back pains, it happens all the time when I stand still for a while and it absolutely ruins concerts for me, and i go to ALOT of concerts... its so painful i spent the last concert i went to poking my back to try make it feel better, so much so i had bad bruises in the morning(though i bruise pretty easily). is it possibly genetic? my dad had ALOT of back operations about 5 years ago, slipped a disc and some other operations i dunno, but basically its sharp pains that make me wanna curl up and they hit me in the back and its really making going to concerts a hassle, and i love going to concerts! If i keep moving its not so bad. Any advice would be appreciated or if you could spread some light on the situation...? I'm 16 btw average weight 130pnds ish 5ft8/9 if that has anyhting to do with it

  1. One relevant piece of information is: what kind of shoes are you wearing? Are they too tight, with high heels or otherwise poorly fitting.

Next time try another style or size.

If this persists, when you have a routine checkup mention it to your doctor.

  2. Check with a doctor. Anyway, one of the most common causes of back pain (lower back) is an imbalance in the muscles of the torso. Basically, either the abdominals or back muscles (don't know what they're called) are too strong/weak and it makes it hard to hold oneself upright (hence the pain when one stands for too long).

  3. ALOT is two words Einstein "a lot".

    Not too hard a concept.
