When tax & any thing is been taken out then the rest is call gross and Revenue is the amount or what you have collect for the year like the amount of revenue that the Government has collected for the year.OK?

net sales or gross revenues are gross sales minus taxes.

net revenues are gross revenues minus returns and/or credits.



if you are looking at a P&L statement net revenue is gross revenues minus cost of sales(cost of the product sold)
