can a person with a learners permint, drive a drunk person home?

  1. You *might* be able to do so, if the person you're driving home is a licensed adult, but I wouldn't do it. The smell of alcohol, though not on you, might make a cop suspicious and he/she might give you a hard time about it.

    Your best bets would be to (a) don't go to a party where alcohol is present and (b) don't get in the car with an intoxicated person.... even if they ARE of legal drinking age.

  3. If there's an adult in the front passenger's seat, I'd imagine so. But seriously. Don't hang out at parties that have drunk people. Even if you're not drinking underage, you'll get an MIP if the police show up, just for being there.

  4. Technically, no, 'cos the person accompanying you is not sober.
