no profession is not listed,  but should have the persons first name too.

if they are not listed, then most probably ex directory.

have you got an address?

try   friends reunited, they are a social network, looking for friends, from school, college, work, you may find them there. Not phone numbers but perhaps a way to contact them via friends reunited

have you tried looking for them on a social networking website like myspace or face book.just put in their full name and select the region and there will be list of people with photos to match.
