  1. i dont know, practice volleyaballing with friends

  2. ask ur parents if u can practice against ur house if u r careful and get a volleyball net and practice with ur friends. if u dont have anyone to practice with then play by ur self by passing the ball over the net(with control)

then go to the other side and pass it back.

  3. I started volleyball 3 years ago when I was 10. I was having some trouble so my coach told me to get into the habit of keeping my knees bent and my arms out straight out so that way you can go whichever way the ball goes. I also suggest practicing your bump. Hold your arms up with your hands level with to your head. then push up making a window (also called a picture frame) with your hand and as you go up make then into a diamond. It sounds confusing but it's really easy. If you learn these tricks then your coach will be very surprised that you are ahead of all the other beginners. I hope this helps.

  4. Okay so I started playing volleyball in like 3rd grade and I used these things, and they really helped me to become a better player.

this is for SURE a must have when you first start playing volleyball. all you have to do is wrap it around your waist, and serve. this is good because you don't have to run to get the ball, it stays attached to the cord. this can also help you with form as well.

you can also practice your serving form on a wall. (without a ball). you should always have the same form when you are back at serving in a game.

practice setting on your garage or something... thats always helpful.

you can practice your hitting approach in front of a mirror so you can see if you are doing it right or not.

they also have volleyball videos or dvds that you can watch that can teach you.

    hope this helps.

  5. For conditioning, you should put yourself on a basic workout routine.  Run some laps, go walking at night with friends, run bleachers at the local high school's football field, ect.

For getting better at basic things, always:

    * have your body in the direction you want to send the ball

    * swinging your arms means you lose control

    * pass in a stand-up motion; play back row low and stand up with the pass

    * set with your finger tips and snap your wrists quickly so you're not lifting the ball

To practice any of these, you can get a friend and bump the ball back and forth and learn to control your passes.  If you know any of the girls who played last year, call them and see if there's anything they can help you with.

  6. Well being in shape is going to help you a lot. So some running and maybe some crunches or something like that also get someone to like throw you the ball and let you pass it back will help. Also you need to be really commited if you want to make it.

  7. -Pass/Set/Bump/Serve to a Target (*Family member, or wall, whatever you like*)

-Practicing with older girls would help.

-Runnnnn, like up and down the street, Sprints are best for Volleyball

    -Jump rope!

-Run up the stairs (*if you have them*) and walk down

-Jump up and down on a stepstool

-Squats like 4 sets of 8(*Jump, touch floor in squat position, and EXPLODE up, helps with blocking and vertical*)

    -wall Jumps

-Practice what you are worst at

-PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, its corny but true! :)

Do these like twice a day, everyday, NO SLACKING OFF! or it won't do you any good....

    LUCK :)

  8. set against your garage/house.

also, get some weights and use those to work out.

you can also go for a jog. or jump rope.

    good luckk. (:
