  1. Yes that would be stale. But you could save it and make croutons out of it before it molds.....

    Stale bread is still edible and usable, plus should not be thrown away.

  3. a bread can be stale, stale as in dull and not fresh, but yet edible, but if it is still ''edible'' you could deep fry it and make bread croutons...or make a batter dip it and fry them and make lovely appetizers...try it..iits good..as long as its edible...

  5. Make something my grandmother used to make.... tomato bread pudding. Break your bread into bite size pieces, saute some onions and green peppers, and mix with a can of diced tomatoes. Bake in a 400F oven until the top turns brown. Add a little sugar. MMM MM good.

    Simply make an egg-milk-sugar mixture, like for custard. Add cubed bread, cinnamon, and raisins. It should be VERY WET, almost soupy. Bake at 350. Yummy, especially with a caramel sauce over it.
