People can be a bad INFLUENCE on one another, or they can be HARMFUL to one another, but well-meaning people cannot realistically be bad LUCK for one another.

Pay less attention to luck and more attention to Karma. If you wish someone blessed, they will be blessed in some way. Focus on that if you wish it to be a reality. Do not focus on misfortune unless you want to multiply your misfortune.
