I am still young and i am going to back to high school for my 5th year because i am confused about what i want to be I'm thinking of becoming a marriage counselor but im not sure so i want some ideas so can you list some careers of the top of your head ...thanks ?

My husband always gets mad when I answer this question, because he feels that you should work in a field that you love. I personally feel that if i have to go to work, that no matter what I do, it will all feel the same...work...after a time. Go for the money. That is why you are there, this is what I do and I am glad...I have fun with the money I make.

Be a NURSE!!! i love it... there is so many different types of nursing you can do from case managing to bedside care....

Check into social work -- with a degree in that, you can pursue lots of things.

You have to make up YOUR OWN MIND about YOUR career!  No one else can do it for you.

Read about careers yourself.  You have to ask yourself this question, "What interests ME?"  It's your life that you're talking about, no one else's!

5th year. Where I live High School is only 3 years. Most colleges have a career counselor. Go see one!

Why would you go back to HS for a 5th year b/c you don't know what you want to do?  That's called being left back!

It sounds like you may like working with helping people if you are looking into counseling. I myself am on my way to a bachelors in social work and getting a certificate in drug and alcohol dependency on the way there.With a social work degree, you can work with single mothers, drug/alcohol counseling,kids schools etc..

its a great field!

You are doing a 5th year of high school because you don't know what you want to be?  Or is it because you failed?  I don't know anybody who voluntarily does an extra year of high school.  I don't even know if that's allowed.
