Plastic - This would depend on the TYPE of plastic. There ARE some plastics made to break down eventually. I would rate this a 4.

Cleaning Products - Well, since you just say cleaning products in general, I have to give this one a 5. This could be different depending on what the cleaning product is made from. Citrus based, not as bad as a chlorine based one.

Appliances - LOL, could you be a little more clear as to which kind of appliance you mean? If this is an oven, for instance, then I would think the impact on the envirnment would not be AS bad as a refridgerator might have. Of course, one would also have to consider whn the product was made and WHERE it was made. Therefore; I give this a 6-7 rating.

Food products - WHICH food products? Beef and pork products come from a MAJOR source of METHANE gas producing animals! Since methane is 20% MORE harmful to the Greenhouse gasses than CO2, I would say THAT food product rates an 8-9. However, just growing food (like corn and greens and whatnot) need FERTILIZER and MOST fertilizers use petroleum products, therefore, ALL of these could rate as high as 9 but not lower than 7!

Organic foods- Not sure, what IS 'Organic' anyway? IF it uses NOTHING chemical to produce, then a 10, if not, well that would depend on the proccess wouldn't it?

Is there a negative 15?  No, well I'll settle for negative 10.

Cleaning Products

Depends on what was used, and why.  Fecal matter?  I'm quiet happy if they use bleach.  General wipe down cleaning?  Use white vinegar, cheap, non toxic, and kills 95% of germs. (1-10, totally depending on why used)

Appliances

Are they quality, durable, long lasting appliances?  Then I have no problem with them.  Do they need to be replaced yearly?  Then I have a problem with them.  (1-10, totally depending on quality and time in service)

Food products

Most food you can get at a hotel is junk.   (8..although sometimes I'm happy with junk food, since I eat it so rarely)

No such thing, period, end of story.  Yes they have plastic mixed with cornstarch that just breaks down to tiny bits of plastic faster...and thereby enters our food chain faster.  

Still a negative 15...alright negative 10, since you don't go that low.

All natural cleaning products

Ones mixed up, and shipped over from China?  Negative 10.

Vinegar, and baking soda purchased locally?  Plus 1

Organic foods

Industrial organics mass produced on mega sized farms and shipped thousands of miles?  A 5

True organics, produces locally, and by small farmers using animal manure, and not chemicals?  Plus 1
