if a brand of mixed nuts contains 40% peanuts, how many pounds of the mix can be made with 5 pounds of peanuts

Let x = total weight

x * 0.40 = 5 pounds

x = 5/0.40

x = 12.5 (pounds)

40% = 5lbs

40%/2 = 5lbs/2

20% = 2.5lbs

20% x 5 = 2.5lbs x 5

100% = 12.5lbs

I have kinda done it in a more complicated way but 5g of peanuts gives you 12.5 pounds of mix.
