  1. put them in water if they flow they are bad cause when the egg goes bad it's yolk devolopes capritic gas so it becomes lighter thats why it flows but other wise it will stay under water.

    ;)

  2. I would think so. We keep ours in a hen decorative thing on the worktop for like a week!

Wen they are at in the shop they are only sat on a shelf anyway. Well mine are anyway  :)

  3. YES YES YES you can use them no prob at all.

  4. Whe you say left out I assume you meant left out of the fridge

Ggggggrrrrrrrrrr all recipes assume your using eggs at room temperature using them straight from the fridge is one of the biggest single mistakes people make in cookery

Eggs are fine at room temperature for about a week to 9 days

  5. I wouldn't eat them. eggs are a very bad source of e-coli food poisoning. find some more at the store. but throw those out.

  6. yeah. their safe.

    =]

  7. Yes, they are perfectly safe to eat. Eggs can actually sit out for a few weeks they just don't stay fresh as long. Just eat them this week.

In the UK and France, the eggs at the supermarket are not refridgerated and many people just keep the eggs in baskets on the counter.

  8. Yup. We keep ours in the cuboard at room temp and they're fine but make sure you eat them within the best before date.

If your still unsure to test whether they're still okay you can put them in a bowl of cold water, if they float then don't eat them 'cause their bad but if the sit on the bottom then they're okay.

  9. They'll be fine as long as you cook them properly.  Also, washing the exterior with soap & water prior to cracking the shell will help to prevent some food-borne illnesses.

Remember:  chickens often sit on those eggs for HOURS before they're taken and packaged.

If in doubt, just toss them...but I don't think it'll be necessary.
