  1. I just take a daily multivitamin and it gives me a 100% of daily iron, you also can get iron from whole grains and leafy green vegetables

  2. You really don't need supplements if you eat sufficient greens such as spinach, beets, broccoli,

carrots, and fruits.  Eating a proper diet balanced diet is the key to vegetarianism!  Don't forget about beans, grains, cereals, seeds, and sprouts!

    I am a Vegetarian and I don't use supplements!

  3. If you are eating properly than you should not need bottle upon bottle of supplements. Properly planed vegetarian diets contain all the vitamins and minerals a person needs. Be sure you are eating a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and grains(vary colors on veggies-reds, greens, yellows, etc).

Some people(vegetarians and omnivores) like to air on the side of caution and take a muti-vitamin, just as a safe guard. I would also suggest taking a vitamin D supplement, as studies have shown that about 40% of adult are lacking in vitamin D(most likely b/c of people not getting outdoors enough and the use of sunscreen, which inhibits vit. D production).

Other than that, it is a waste to be popping numerous pills. The body absorbs nutrients from food much better than in pill form, and real food is still the best source of nutrition.
