Please answer this I really need help and can't figure this out. Why does he do this?

Okay so I like this guy for a long time. When we were in the 5th and 6th grade we went out once. It was nothing big at all. Just little crushes. Then I broke up with him and all his friends said I hurt him really badly. Now its 5 1/2 years later I am in 10th grade and he is in 11th. He messed around with my head 8th grade his freshman year. He is doing it again. He says he likes me as a friend. He talks to me and asked me if I was single and I know that he is just toying with me. I know the reason I pretty much want him is because I can't have him. He drives me crazy. Why does he do this to me?

I am not normally around him and I am not all over him and I don't tell him that I like him anymore. I have had a 9 month relationship during this time but I still don't know why when I am single he messes with me. He has only had 2 girlfriends and doesn't date .

When we run into each other we talk like normal and we are friends. I am friends with some of his friends and they like me as a friend. Some of his other friends are younger and inmuture and mess with me and pick on me and I don't think they like me. Could it just be he is scared to go out with me because of his friends?

Like in 8th grade we were staying the night at the same house and me and him were up until 4 in the moring talking then we started flirting and he started pushing up against me and got in my face like he wanted to kiss me. Then I told him I was going to bed.

I think you should just ignore him until he realizes that he really wants you. You should play hard to get for a little while.
