  1. Alot of our seafood and jobs comes from the rivers and ocean and we must see that the rivers stay clean and unpoluted so that we can still thrive off the rivers in our country.    Alot of the jobs of the fisherman is at risk who bring alot of our food in.    We need these fisherman to help supply our food.

  2. What are the "rivers of civilization"?  Are they talking about real rivers that flow water or is it a metaphor for cultures or something?

It sounds like a question a socialist liberal would ask.  If i were being asked the question, I'd say that the market economies of the world are what make the countries that have them great.  Market economies are far superior to government controlled communistic economies.  Just look at the former Soviet Union and see how well having a communistic economy worked for them.  It was a total failure and the main reason why the Soviet Union is no more.
