  1. about ten sticks for the largest and 7for next largest and 5 for the smallest i have turtle so i know

  2. its best to feed each of the turtles in seperate tanks to prevent aggression and to make sure that one doesnt get overfed or underfed.

feed the map and soft shell daily because they still arent adults yet.  they should be fed as much as they can consume in 10 mintues.

because the painted is an adult turlte it should be fed every other day.  it too should be fed as much as it can consume in 10 minutes.

    hope this helps

  3. 3 or 4 shakes should be enough or if it is sprinkle then give them like 2 tsp each seperatly

  4. give them enough til they stop eating it

  5. Well I have 2 baby RES turtles and they can consume or inhale about 8 pellets ea in about 2 mins. So depending on how much or how fast your turtles eat is how much u feed them. I would say about 10 ea.

  6. the map and painted eat all the fish they want and greens. You need to feed them feeder guppies, goldfish or minnows for protein and calcium daily drop 20 or so in the tanks and watch them disappear in a few days! When I got these two 36 yrs ago all we had in back then  were goldfish to feed , so after 36 yrs and still going strong. They can eat goldfish!

This way when they swim for their dinner they get exercise also!

They can have garden worms, meal worms, snails, crickets, flies, crayfish small frogs, dragon flies and  anything that moves, but only as a treat.

They need leafy greens Romaine, Butter lettuce. (Iceberg and cabbage are bad for them, any other leafy greens will do) for vitamin A that they need at least 3 to 4 times a week.

You probably already know that they get sick easily, shell rot, respiratory sickness, lopsided swimming, coughing, blowing bubbles from their nose.

**Swollen cloudy eyes means lacking in Vitamin A. Which we all need for good eyes. Google ‘vegetables with Vitamin A.

Contact the “www.anapsid.org/societies, for a turtle vet /  rescue in your city and state.

    I wish you luck.
