Well, guys usually say that when they are upset that they cannot 'score' with you or have a really intense crush on you, but force themselves to pretend like they don't give a sh*t about you, but are really dying inside and hoping that one day they will get to be with you. In any case, you should tell the guy that called you this to shut the F up and tell him to lose the jealousy bit and focus that negative energy elsewhere. You keep doing what you do. Good luck.

It is an old practice of trying to goad you into putting out.  In their eyes, what you are doing wrong is saying NO.  Its their way of pitching a fit cause they are not getting what they want.  Don't take the insults personally, they say that to any girl that won't give into them.
