Does anybody of you heard about Pratt Institute? I want to apply there for Architecture, but it very expensive. I talked with counselors there, and with FASFA and their scholarships, I will have to take like 10,000 or 15,000 loan a year. Is it a lot? What do you think? Should I go there for one year and then try to transfer to Cooper Union or The City College? and will it reduce me a year from 5 years B.Arch in another college if I will transfer? Thank You.

  1. I would definitely check out less expensive schools before making your decision.  You should ask Pratt if they accept transfer degrees from local community colleges.  If they do, you can do your first two years at a much lower cost, then transfer in as a junior to Pratt.

Keep asking questions, that's the way to make the best informed decision.

    Good luck!
