i last had a period on the 5th of aug till the 9th, it was 3 weeks late, my cycle have been pretty crazy the past few months! so i bought some ovulation tests off the internet which said they wer NHS registerd, they came as a pack of 15 ovulation test strips and 10 pregnancy tests,. i have been testing from about 10days after my period and i havnt yet got a positive ovulation result yet apart from the faint line on them which is just to show your producing the hormone but when it gets dark its time!!. the problem is i have been using some pregnancy ones too, just for the sake of it really because they are there lol, anyway i have had two faint lines on the pregnancy ones( it was 2 tests out of 5), i know i am not pregnant because i havnt ovulated and i was only on my period 20 days ago, we are TTC so i am not getting my hopes up but how reliable are these tests do you think?

  1. I would suggest you go get a clearblue pregnancy test or similar, you never know you may be pregnant. got to http://peeonastick.com to compare your results will others.

    good luck

  2. they are 90% reliable. They tend to show false positive results. Its always safe to take pregnancy test after your missed period. Blood tests are more accurate.
