My tv is acting strange. Whenever I put my tv on a particular channel (input 2 where I can watch my dvd's on.) and leave it for fifteen minutes (without changing the channel or without inserting any dvd) the tv locks off by itself. I have left other channels on for fifteen minutes and it doesn't lock off by itself. My tv was totally checked out and there is nothing wrong with it, the wires are in good working condition. Why do you think this is happening and what can I do to fix it? That channel doesn't ask for any passwords. We don't have any v chip on our television.

First of all you check your DVD player if there is some lock in there in that or not.

Secondly what you can do is to make the default settings and see wheather child lock is on for external source like DVD etc is on or not.

Switch off your TV and unplug it and again plug it after say about 10 mins and see if it works.

If nothing works then it might be some with the Microprocessor which is there in your TV which gives the command to external source.

So its better to call a service centre people .
