Please be honest with your opinions?

Question

I think I have come up with some table names for our reception. Our wedding is fairy tale themed and I love the Disney Princess theme. So here goes. Please tell me what you think and feel free to add or subtract and make your own suggestions. This is just preliminary.

1. Cinderella's Castle

2. Snow White's Cottage

3. Aurora's Bedroom

4. Jasmine's Palace

5. Ariel's Cavern

6. Belle's Library

7. Aladdin's Carpet

8. Eric's Royal Ship

9. Beast's Ballroom

10. Dwarves' Mines

11. Pumpkin Carriage

12. Dragon's Lair

If you and your groom are into the Disney Princess theme than they are great.

If he isn't into it than I wouldn't do it.

This sounds like the theme for a little girls party not a woman entering into the most important relationship of her adult life besides being a mother.

The wedding is supposed to about the beginning of your journey together.  Not just the bride fulfilling all her childhood fantasies.

I don't mean to be harsh, just honest.

they all sound good except for the dragons lair . you could do something witht the fairy godmother she is a big part of the princesses!!! and i absolutley love your theme!!! i want a princess wedding too. good luck!!

How is your man going to feel sitting his friends at Snow White's Cottage? Why not just snip off his manhood?   It sounds so childish and silly. Sorry but you asked for input.

Hopefully you don't take this the wrong way.....the last thing i want is to be rude,,,.... I love you're theme but i would change number 3# and number 6# ,,,,,.....And my favorite one is number 1#

All of these names heavily depend on what kind of theme you're going with (and no, "Disney" isn't descriptive enough). We need to know how you're decorating everything and what food is available.

Sounds good, but Aladdins carpet i would change to aladdins cave.

I love this idea! The only one I really don't like is Dragon's Lair...It kind of takes away from the romantic aspect of it. Also Pumpkin Carriage seems out of place. I like it, but all the others are like someone's something... i.e : Ariel's Cavern. It's a really cute and creative idea. Congrats!

Great!  They are cute and fun and fit well with the theme.

An idea.  For one of the A names (3 and 5) you could use 'atrium'.  Aurora's Atrium has a bit more pizzazz than Aurora's Bedroom.

i would totally sit at pumpkin carriage, thats a really cute name.   but i don't really like cinderella's castle, i don't really know why.  but i like the others =)

What a great idea! Too bad your wedding isn't at DisneyWorld (is it?) LOL. My only suggestion is how about Charming's Staircase instead of Dwarves' Mines. I love those dwarves, but their mine isn't very romantic! :)

EDIT  Also, how about Fairy Godmother's Carriage instead of Pumpkin Carraige. I like both, but it would keep the " 's " thing going.

Even though I did answer your previous question, I too have a tendency to think it may be a bit overboard (there went my 10 points..LOL). You can do the fairy tales or princess theme, but these names for the tables are not very 'mature'.  

Use the regular number system that everyone knows and understands to find their table, but have a graphic or symbol for your princesses and fairy tales included with it. Like for instance if you used Jack and the Beanstalk for table 12, have a beanstalk entwined in the numbers. Royal standards (flags) bordering another number; sea shells for Ariel; apples for Snow White.  These are still in keeping with your idea, just not so 'child-like'.

but you have to know eith you spend a lot and it looks good or you do chep stuff and it looks kida trashy

so dont do it unless your willig to spend enough
