  1. One tip:  Scan the entire test first, answer the ones you know right away. Then go on to the rest that take more time. Leave enough time at the end to look over the entire thing again. If you spend too much time on one answer, go to the next one.

  2. Read this book

'Use Your Head' by Tony Buzan. Its available on Amazon.

Chomp through it all because at the end the last few chapters give very sound principles on study technique.  It works.  I achieved high A level results because of it.

  3. Firstly, you can use this technique: Scan the entire test first, answer the ones you know right away. Then go on to the rest that take more time. Leave enough time at the end to look over the entire thing again. If you spend too much time on one answer, go to the next one.(I've copied it off another user but its good advice-I use it myself).

    Other tips:

1.Use index cards and have a friend or relative test you, over and over.

2.There is a process of memorizing... if you study your material, you will remember the begining and the end better than the middle (called serial effect). To fix this, when you study study the list normally, then the next time you read it read the middle first, then the begining and the end.

3.Take breaks whilst revising so you don't get bored or tired.

    4. Get a good night's sleep and don't go to bed too late!

    5. Have a piece of fish for breakfast, gives brainpower and calmes nerves(Sounds weird but it works!)

Good luck, I'm sure you'll do fine :)

  4. I find it easier to get other people to test me the day after i revise it when i'm not thinking about it.

If i get it right then it tends to stick in my head forever

  5. dont over do it mate just do a bit at a time then you wont overload ya brain with so much to remember, just do a little bit let it sink in and then do a bit more, good luck

  6. im taking exams soon aswell (GCSES) and from what iv found there are three types of learners, visual, audio and kinestetic, visual learners revise better by looking at diagrams, maybe making mind maps, rewriting notes onto post it notes etc. Audio learners prefer to be told stuff, you could get your mate to test u verbally , or read your work out to yourself, the other option is to record yourself saying the work, and then play it back, i hear that this technique works for verbal learners. Kinestetic learners, revise better by actually doing it themselves, for instants you mite want to draw your own diagrams to help you remember, or  act out a seen of a play to remember it. It depends what sort of learner you are.

But remember dont over do it, just try and chill and make sure your in a relaxed enviourment. Don't let revision take over your life, but make sure you do enough of it. A good idea is to start a revision timetable, then you know what to revise each day, and when you can do other stuff, like see mates etc.

If you want anymore tips or help feel free to contact me or message me or some thing, because im going through exam revision atm, so i know what its like.
