I am going to train as a midwife but came across a question where somebody asked about being on call 24/7 and the person said that if you are a certified midwife you would never be expected to be on call 24/7 but if your a lay midwife then you are...I was wondering, what's the difference? If i take my 3 year course in university does it mean I'm a certified midwife? I live in the uk but if your from a different country your welcome to answer anyway :) x*x
