Please can somebody tell me if they recommend these sub woofers Paradigm PDR-12 Sub Woofer and the Paradigm PS-1200

Paradigms are nice speakers. But there are a lot of others just as nice. Though you can't go to a store and hear them there are a few internet only brands I would highly recommend. HSU Electronics and SVSound being 2 of them.

Paradigm is high end. I have a pair of Titan speakers and they sound great.

Just by my experience with the brand I would recommend the 12 inch subwoofer.

Out of those two models that you mention the PS-1200 is better. If you want to go even higher up Paradigm has the PW-2200 or the Seismic 12.....now those 2 will give you some room shaking bass!!
