Please can someone explain my glasses prescription to me?

Any help would be appreciated. The details are:

Right eye: Sph -0.75 Cyl -0.75 Axis 100.0

Left eye: Sph 0.00 Cyl 0.75 Axis 62.0

the sphere reading is the "strength" of your glasses. A minus figure means a concave lens for near/short sightedness. So your right eye is just a tad near sighted and your left eye isn't. The cylinder and axis figures are for correcting an astigmatism. Astigmatism happens because your eye is not a perfect sphere, which can lead to refractive errors  in a particular plane. So for instance, you might see horizontal lines more clearly than vertical lines, or lines at 45 degrees might be blurry. I'm not an optician so the link below will explain it better than I have.

Your prescription indicates you are slightly near sighted in your right eye and have a mild astigmatism in both eyes.  This means that you see better at near than far and your night vision is probably not the greatest.

Wear the glasses for all distance viewing,  i.e.,  driving, watching TV, going to ball game etc.

You may even find them comfortable to use on the computer for prolonged use, as well.
