  1. tracking cookies are normal and aren't bad. They are what keeps you logged in when you sign in. Once you clear the cookies, it will automatically sign you out. But if you want to clear it.. go to tools, and clear private data.

  2. tracking cookies are basically really small annoying things. dont worry about a tracking cookie. it wont harm your computer. all it does is track what websites you have been on. AVG should get rid of it by itself.

  3. Hi friend..

You can run the AVG and once the scanning is finished and it says some file found you go for option quarantine or delete to delete that file it wont give any error.

So you can do that easily to save your computer software's.

  4. Thats not really a threat, everyone has them.

You can either follow the steps that AVG gave you, or just delete your cookies through your browser.

  5. tracking cookies are parcels of text sent by a server to a web client (usually a browser) and then sent back unchanged by the client each time it accesses that server. HTTP cookies are used for authenticating, session tracking (state maintenance), and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences or the contents of their electronic shopping carts.

  6. There should be a removal button somewhere on the screen after you do the search. Look at every button, it should be there. Should be step by step from there. Good luck.

  7. go to download.com and in the search area type virus and then they will have a bunch of virus and cookie removers....i downloaded one from that list and it got rid of a hacker, a trojen horse, and a cookie

  8. contact AVG or remove it using the program. there should be someway.

  9. you can clear it by ur internet browser

not serious but if u want to then

    depending on ur browser

something like tools>>internet options>>and click on content or security

  10. As many others said... Tracking cookies are not serious.  Its good to delete them but its not a virus or anything thats of major threat.

Just delete it and you will be fine.

  11. a tracking cookie is not serious at all, if you are worried though you can clear your cookies for your internet browser.

  12. Ha. I Cookie is not bad. Its so when you go back to a certain page it will load quicker. AVG 8 seems to think their bad. Their not. And no other Antivirus's say they are. And even the Payed ones. (I'm on Windows Live One Care)

  13. http://www.malwarebytes.org/

  14. download the program "CCleaner"...this program deletes all computer cookies without anyquestion.....i use this and it also helps speed up the computer just a bit

  15. Just follow the instructions to quarantine it.

  16. You can delete cookies in your browsing options or internet options. A tracking cookie is harmless though, so don't freak out.

  17. Tracking cookies are very common and are benign - They aren't a threat of any kind.

They are used by advertisers to track how many people saw what ads, how many clicked through them, etc.

They don't identify you personally, just count how many people react to the ads.

Most large websites use cookies that will tell them how many of their visitors are repeat visitors or first timers.

The spyware scanners like to report the cookies they find to make you think they are doing a great job.

  18. open up internet explorer (i hope thats the browser you are using) click on tools go to options, then select provacy, click show cookies and click remove all cookies. Remember this will delete all cookies that are on your computer. From what I know a tracking cookie is nothing to be really concerned about as all it is a text file that stores preferences from a website and some other information.

  19. if u r having internet they will be virus.
