To leave a Yahoo group:Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.  To cancel your Yahoo account:It will delete itself in 180 days if you don't use it or go below.

Cancel you from what?

If it's a Yahoo Group you want to be cancelled from, then log in to the Yahoo Groups web site.  Then go to the home page of the Group you want to be cancelled from.  Then click on Edit Membership near the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Then click the Leave Group button down in the lower-right-hand corner.

If it's Yahoo Answers you want to be cancelled from, there's really no way to do that.  In this case, my best advice to you would be to just stop coming to any part of the Yahoo Answers web site.
