Question

School is starting soon and I am having some problems with my friends. My bff is moving and going to a new school. My other best friend that is in my class has not answered any of my emails since July 4th. She wont even answer my calls!! =(.

As you can see, I need some help with my friends. I dont want to be alone this year!! How can I make more friends? I am going into 8th grade and everyone has mainly made up their "Clique" already so probably they wouldnt want any additions. I dont want to be in a clique because they excluse people but I need more friends. How can I make more friends? Thanks best answer gets +10 points!

i had the EXACT same problem

my friends dumped me for a guy and i was alone

i remember knowing a girl in pe and i started talkign to her an dsoon we were hanging out

it felt good to know that people were nice and  inviting

go to ur classes and im sure there are girls that will like u to hang with them

try iming them and calling them

im sure they will like that

also, talk to ur friend that is ignoring u

maybe she went somehwhere or her phone is dead

talk to her

and im sure u will have friends in no time!

I feel for you... I'm going to a new school this year.

My advice: find someone who's new and try to make friends with them.  Or talk to people you haven't really talked to before.  By eighth grade, most people have reputations already so that's why I suggested the new person thing.

i have the same delima, just whoever you think you will talk to the most start talking to them, remember at least someone, be yourself not somebody else. Get to know them more, don't be shy

I don't know anyone in a clique that wouldn't want more friends. And besides, you don't have to be in one to have friends. I hang between cliques all the time w/o any problems.

The best way now it seems, is to make friends via the internet. Not like, with strangers but people you know from school. I use facebook to talk to people a lot of the time. If you have any sort of online friend system ask some people you know if they want to hang out. Say you haven't seen them in a while and you want to go to a movie or something. Also, tell them to bring a bunch of friends! That way you'll meet new people to hang out with at school. Even if you don't have as many friends now, once classes start things will get easier. Don't be afraid to ask to sit down at lunch with a bunch of people you don't know well. Chances are, they won't say no! Other people want new friends too, which gives you perfect opportunities to make new friends. I bet there will be a bunch of people also in the same situation as you too! So don't get freaked out. You might meet your new best friend!

join groups!! do sports, drama, etc. you'll have more friends, and the more friends u have, the more friends you'll get!!! just dont b too shy. the new friends you'll have will introduce u to their friends. it's like a cycle.

okay i think the best thing to do is play the game well.  if someone plays lie she is all better than u, u have to play that role.  "learn from the best, and play better than best"
