Question

Well my sister is like 20 and she had a myspace for like 3 years and were close so she like shows me everything and tells me everything... and well theres this guy she's been talking to for about 6 or 7 months, and i she showed me a comment he left that said we should meet. dont want her to because what if he was just lying what if hes one of those creepy guys who just wanna hurt beautiful young woman? i mean its myspace theres all sorts of creeps out there? what should i do?

If she's going to meet him (and there's not much you can do to stop her) make sure she meets him in a very public place - and probably better for the first few meetings to take a couple of friends along - if he's not prepared to meet like that, then he's probably a freak!

Unless she knows him in real life, don't do it. There's to much of a risk.

Your sister is 20...if she is willing to meet the guy, she will, whether you like the odds or not...convince her that she needs to set the time and place, whatever the guy says....the first 3 dates always need to be in daylight, crowded places and she should not give her address or phone number but definitely try get his and then you can do some detective work if you like and if you have nothing to do at that time you can tag along with a friend in the area so that you are able to come to her aid as fast as possible...also you should check up with her in an hour in the date...tell her that if her cell phone is switched off or not reachable she might as well jump off a cliff...also she should meet with you or a friend right after her date and not directly go home (if the creep decides to follow her around its better to be in someone's company) and tell her that she should not be at all afraid to scream...if after talking to you she still wants to go out she is really brave

tell her to be really careful make sure she has made up her mind and to go to public place like the mall !!! and to take a couple of friends to and to carry pepper spray if he tries to follow her home!!!
