If you want to be successful then it is up to you to take charge, be in the forefront and MAKE that success happen.  You cannot rely on someone else to do it for you.  

Sitting idly by and allowing others to do the work is asking for failure. Hence, if you are comfortable riding on the coat-tails of others, then eventually you'll "ride" right into their failure and by doing so your own!
