Please compare 2 hdtv!!!!!!!!!!!need help very seriouly?

i am thinking buying HDTV between

two model. one is

philps 32PFL5403D/27 and

samsung LN32A330

can someone find out when they were released, reliability, better specs,after services, and other bad and good things about them.

price is same, but dont know what i have to buy.

please help me out... thank you^^

I suggest Samsung. Becasue Samsung were first to make the panel for LCD. But the model you are looking is very old one. Now you can get the better LCD of SAMSUNG with 3 HDMI. Plz see the features of new model launch.

Between the Philips and the Samsung, it is without question the Samsung. Of the name brands, Philips/Magnavox (same mfg.) are bottom of the barrel.

However, the two top dogs in 32" LCDs, in both performance AND reliability are Panasonic and Sony. It's a virtual tie, so pick the one with the best combo of price and warranty. Next step down is Toshiba and then, perhaps, the Sharp 720p. Both are a little less expensive than Panasonic and Sony. Just make sure you stick with the name brands! Read over the HDTV articles in the 11/07 and 3/08 issues of Consumer Reports. You can get these at your local public library.
