Please could someone tell me how to tell a Budgies age.?

My Budgie was a rescue Bird and it only looks young so I would like to know how old he is

Look at the bars on its forehead. If they come all the way down to its nose, then it is pretty young. If its forehead is completely bald, then its probably a year old or more.

First give food then when  relaxed carefully tel your budgie it´s age.
