Please critique my Pictures!

Question

There's 12. I used selective coloring for all of them.

I used Photoshop version 4.0

i like the last one of your cousin. but how do you make only part of the picture color (her dress)? but they are all good.

The selective coloring is good :) The pictures are quite average, but I like them.

They are pretty typical novice snapshots.  Not bad, and fine for your album.  Selective color by itself is not enough to make great art from a run of the mill snapshot.  I do like to use it occasionally, though, but it loses its appeal when used randomly and excessively.  I didn't think any of the images you posted were good candidates for using selective color.  But as an amateur you only need to please yourself!

If photography is an interest of yours, I always suggest taking a class at the local level if possible.  Get some books on beginning photography and look at lots of good images from magazines and pro websites.  www.kodak.com and www.betterphoto.com are good places to learn and have good galleries.  Keep learning and practicing and enjoy!
