Please critique my waterskiing?

it wasn't the greatest run but I'd like to improve to get much better, also can you think of any ways to practice while on the skis, like trying to get across the wake x times in 30 secs, etc. Thanks.

  1. i coudn't tell but left foot forward should have the rope on the right side of the ski when getting up...may help with the wobbles. your weight does not need to go back- its too far back. about half way through the video (you can see mostly pylon and rope attachment) right before what I just described you made a turn and it looked good. you need to get your hips up...they are mostly dropped back. also, you dont want to lift the rope up to get rid of slack. you want to slightly pressure the front of the ski before you turn(slows you down so you dont get slack in the first place) at the end of the video you look to be centered on the ski well. practice shifting weight back and forth when you cross the wakes and turn. also stop your pull once you cross the 2nd wake. left foot forward should have right palm up, left palm down on the handle,,once again on the video i couldn't tell which way your grip was. practice. you lookin' awright!


  2. Your start up was a little iffy.... you might wanna just lean back a little more

    Then when you go you might wanna just bend your knees and lean back more.... if you press into the water harder with your back foot you will do better......
