Please do not say it feels bad. I know it's bad, but I want to hear it from someone who has been in the real situation.

Thanks.

  1. Well.. Ive never been in a cell but ive gone to jail before for getting into a fight.. its not that great.. because obviously you are constantly reminded of the thing you did wrong.. because otherwise if it was not for that you would not be in jail... For me it was the constant questioning of what the h**l is going to happen next. You wait for your parents to pick you up. And you are not gonna like their reaction. Luckily I got lucky and only got 1 week of grounding because my parents obviously saw that I knew what I did was wrong. Thats awful to. Jail is a horrible place. Being in a cell is even worse. I know this because Ive had one or two friends who have been there. Its just a horrible horrible place. You can not do ANYTHING. So the constant feeling of boredom is always around you. Its very bad.

This is why you should think twice before you do something.

  2. If you are not drunk, it feels pretty cool.  You would have to be "tough" to be in jail.  The other guys wonder if you are going to murder them even if you don't look very hard.... maybe you are just nuts and they better stay away.  The beds aren't too  comfortable. /

  3. Isolated if you are in your own cell?

  4. Have you ever had a sore a$$...

  5. Well my friend went to Jail for a year and he said

"All they have for breakfast is some cold grits and bread, for lunch they have bread and water, and for dinner they have this nasty soup, nasty cornbread and water. In the showers, you don't get raped, everyone is quite with a depressed and sad look on their face. They have a small TV usually turned to news and at requests of some of the inmates, BET. People there verbally assault everybody and there are A LOT of fights but if you ignore the verbal assault and take a soft slap or two, no one messes with you"

That is what he told me, and he went to jail for beating someone up real bad, because that person hit his mom.

  6. I've been to jail 5 or 6 times...

My first time, I was there for two days.  Because the experiance was so short, the time went by pretty fast.  When I first got there, I was in a holding cell with about 10 guys.  I was very nervous. They were all about my age (18 at the time), and all of them were of average size.  You will find that, in this situation, there are always a couple of guys who are 'showboats'.  They love to talk.  I listened to 3 morons pretend that they were hardcore for a couple of hours and then I was processed.  This involved stripping in front of an officer and changing into the jail uniform.

I was then assigned a bunk.  The 'pod' had individual rooms, but since I was just there for the weekend, I was assigned a mattress on the floor of the general population room.  I sat there and read for a couple of hours, then it was time to eat.  At dinner, I sat down next to some guys that were my age.  We got to talking and they invited me to play cards.  I spent the rest of my time playing spades with the same 3 guys.

My second time in jail, I stayed for 60 days.  Once again, I was processed, and went to general population.  This time, however, I was 'farmed out'.  This means that, since the jail was overpopulated, the county I was staying at arranged to have me transported 3 hours away to a differnent jail.  It's fairly common in big cities.  I wound up in a podunk jail with no chance of recieving a visit from my fiancee, whom I was very in love with.  The 60 days was torture, and I vowed never to go back to jail.

Long story short, the last time I visited jail, it was for a year.  I spent some of this in a drug rehab program, and some of it in a residential center for supervised probation.

Jail is no fun, but it's not horrible.  It's very boring, and not very comfortable.  You hang out with idiots, liars and thieves, but some of them are interesting.  Don't give out money, don't get into fights and don't make the gaurds hate you.  Other than that...it's easy.

  7. I aint been to an adult jail or an American jail.

But I did 3 weeks in a detention and the reminding 5 in a juvenile because I turnt 15. It was all remand so I was treated better wore my own clothes could have as many visits as I want

Detention- Like school but bording school I guess go to sleep at 9pm wake up 7 am you can socialize alot if your good and even with girls I know it would be very easy to escape but if was if anything fun in there.

Juvinelle- But of teenagers who think they are all hard. People would fight at 7am in the morning the white boys from northern england we call them chavs they were just immature running around showing their diiks to each other in the showers. They had things you can do yoga church or some little corse I chose to stay in my cell. The food was good I swear down they had everything but it was expensive my mum lied when she said they feed you shiit in there they actually dont all the sweets crips chocolate we would get into a habit of stealing cakes

You have no control of where to go and when I couldn't even go down a cetain stairs. The govs call you by your fuking surname which p**s me off you only get one meal and if you dont behave your put on basic. theres no girls I see boys having s*x with a toilet roll. Yeah people fight like ***** in there one boy bit my ear and the inside of my thigh as if he was goin to bite my balls! I only had 3 fights lost one to this white boy who was like 17. Overall it was nothing inside there got released and sentence to do 5 months probation which was much worser. This may sound sick but I did enjoy it but what is 5 weeks compared to a year or something.

Im 17 now and my record will be spent (cleaned) next year so what type of country is this. I only went jail for skipping bail and court.

I cant really say much because I didnt spend to long in their but my friends say its nothing anyways just figths but in America your jails seem like h**l. The only bad part was when I was released I had to live in a home then hostel and different friends because my mum would not let me back home for a few months

Jails bad it brings shame on your family to you maybe you wont care or your friends will think your kool but dont do it if your thinking of going there.

Its worser being held in a police station they can keep you in there for complete isolation for 24 hours that I didnt like and when they release you, your miles from home you aint bathed, brushed teeth or changed clothes or have any money
