Please differentiate the chemist and the scientist?

pls help me.. i am so confused.. i must choose my career because i am a graduating student.. help please?

Chemistry is one of many sciences. Quite specific. In UK, I believe it could also be a pharmacist, but  I'm not certain.

A scientist could practice any one or more of the sciences.

It depends on the country you live in.  A chemist can and often is a scientist.  I highly recommend pharmacy.  Just take a look at the positions available, and their pay rates.  There is a phenomenal need for pharmacists, and given the global changes in pharmacy regulations the field will continue to grow.
