Why are football players and coaches always slapping each other on the Gluteus Maximus? The Glutes is an erogenous zone so why are they always touching that particular area of the male physique? I am very ignorant towards football and their good sportsmanship so (If Allah wills) would like for someone to shed some light upon me please.

  1. Well it started when all football players had a pad back there that would protect the end of the spinal cord in case you got knocked onto your butt.  The slap would be on the pad and not the actual player.

Nowadays not all players wear that pad, so yes there is some butt slapping.  Try not to get too excited since the players don't.

  2. Ifs only erogenous if you are attracted to the person doing it to you. Any straight male with a shread of confidence doesnt get grossed out or wiered out by ocassionally getting slapped on the butt.

The problem is that most women are secretly bisexual. ( yes this is true) So they probably figure that guys are also. But very few of us, are practically no football players. So as long as you are confident in yourself, why would it bother you?

  3. they do it to excite them selves

  4. Duck Danger is actually correct you use to be hitting a guy on his pads , now most guys do not wear the pads so it seems like they are smacking each others butts.

    Have a Great Day.

  5. just what we do we cant explain it...we dont do it off the field

  6. They do that to tell the player that they did a good job

idk why in that area though

  7. IDK why its gross

  8. The answer is much simpler than you may think.

The players back is covered with pads.  When a player is passing you the rear is the only easy area to reach that is not covered with pads.  So when you would normally pat a player on the back, his back is covered with pads, therefore you would pat them on the only area you can reach with no pads, the rump.

Simple and nothing g*y or erotic about it.

  9. Not only do they touch the Gluteus Maximus but the Gluteus Minimus and the Gluteus Medius and the genitals too.

When sportsmen are overwhelmed and excited by winning or scoring a goal or a point, they want to share their excitement and pleasure with the rest of the team. This dynamic build up of energy is released by touching their fellow players where the receptacles are sensitive and the transfer of  energy immediate. Where better than the erogenous zones.

Coaches do it to give a quick rush of energy to a player. This gesture has fundamentally no sexual intent.

  10. I am a coach and I dont do that. I pat them on the shoulder pad or helmet. I dont understand it either and this day and age coaches need to watch that kind of thing.

  11. who would pose a some muslim woman and ask this weird question... someone is beating off thinking about how "funny" they are

  12. It's mostly because it's one of the only areas that is not covered by pads.

Coaches could slap them on the helmet, shoulder pads etc but they might not feel it. Slap them on the rear and they know.

There is also the risk of hurting your hand by slapping a helmet or pad. Brett Favre broke his thumb slapping a teammate on the helmet.
