It's about the same as saying "d**n".

It's only considered cursing by some because you're "taking God's name in vain". What they fail to realize is that God's name is "Jehovah". Using his REAL name would mean taking his name in vain.

I don't know. Everybody has their own opinions for that question. I think it is a curse word. Personally, because it says to not use the Lord's name in vein and that word is doing so. Just me....

Yes - you're judging people in the way only God can - it's very much telling someone to go to h**l.  Better leave that "wish" to God's decision. :-)

Btw, four letter words *aren't* cursing! Interesting, huh? They're still rude though, and totally socially unacceptable. :-)

its not cursing but it is taking the lord's name in    vain  that is  why  many ppl. see it is cursing
