There's gota be more than dislike of Obama than he's inexperienced or dislike on McCain because he very similar to Bush. That seem very shallow, but the average american thinks like that. Somebody educate me please. Give me dislikes of both side please.

  1. there is nothing shallow about it. Obama is a Communist, and he wants to subjegate the masses.

  2. There is more to dislike about Obama being elected than his inexperience.  Obama would take this country down a path that we don't want to go..  he doesn't even love this country... he feels that American kids should learn Spanish for one thing:

Notice in the video he only mentions learning Spanish until no one applauds..  then he mentions 'bilingual'.  I think it's find for kids to learn other languages, but illegals are choosing to come to OUR country and then REFUSE to learn English..  why should we learn Spanish???

He was raised in a church where his first allegiance is to Africa..  he was in that church for years, and just pulled away because of the media exposure of it's hatred of America.

His wife for the first time in her life was 'proud' of America because her husband was nominated...  did she not find anything to be proud of before??

  3. Please don't call me shallow.

Obama is inexperianced=Not good for our Country

McCain will follow many of Bush's policies=Which I happen to agree with.

There is more to it, but on to the next question!

  4. It is the mindset of a long term thief. When the US reviewsits own history and sees it has stolen land from Indians, enslaved Africans and abused every other group, it fears justice and is therefore paranoid. The US is a self loathing nation looking for friends, like a newbie in prison.  The bully has finally been caught and friends are rare for the thief or the liar. They look for a protector and a practiced professioal liar who will not reveal their flaws.

The US is in many ways, great and small, the great "Satan" of our time.

  5. I cannot help you.  I actually think Obama is smart and impressive. I would be honered to spend some time with him.  And yet, I won't vote for him.    Likewise, I actually felt better with Bidden on the ticket even though I almost always dislike his opinion - I just felt a little safer because of his years of experience.  Again, no dislike of the candidates from me.  But you are right, too many have confused opinions with love/hate.

Look for people who "love" their candidate or "hate" the other.  They have confused politics with the birds and the bees.

Perhaps these are the same people that go to youth sporting events and make way too much out of them.

  6. Sadly many voters will vote against Obama because he is black but the truth is he is half white too.

I vote for whomever I feel will take the nation in the direction that I feel is best for the people of this country.

The way I see it the pugs are big on military but fail to notice that the constitution also speaks to the duty of the government seeking to common good.

  7. What is alot and isn't your question shallow in itself. Your question assumes what and how the average american thinks. Perhaps they give it more thought than what the media outlets would have you believe. Perhaps the question you pose is revealing the answer.

Have a serious conversation with people and you may find they do have more than just one or two thoughts about any-given subject.

  8. A lot of the dislike comes from that they are the opposition party.

"I don;t like him, as he's not from MY party."

I do not dislike any of the candidates, but i feel they lack practical experience to honestly lead this country

  9. personally i don't think its shallow to think that Obama is inexperienced or McCain is similar to Bush because those are just FACTS. except the truth.

  10. I love Obama, he is our future.

    Mr. News

  11. The candidates of both major political parties are career politicians. They have marinated in the belly of corrupt political machines. Partisans will tell you this is only true of the OTHER side. In truth, this is true of both major party candidates. I am tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. This year I am voting for Charles Jay.

  12. I dislike Obama because he stands opposite of me on every issue I stand for.

I think Liberals oppose McCain for the same reasons.

This board is just a place to vent.

  13. Obama originally mislead people to believe he had ties in Kansas.  Obama has never lived in Kansas and his mother moved from Kansas with her family when she was young.  Obama has made comments insulting millions of Americans calling them bitter, gun toting, religious fanatics.  Obama has connections with the Rev. Wright, who preaches racial hatred, Obama has connections with admitted co-founder of the Weatherman Underground, Bill Ayers, which bombed government buildings in the 1970's and has said that the only regret he has is that more building weren't bombed.  Obamas national health care plan means more taxes for everyone and lower quality health care and more government reporting.  Obama tax plan means tax increases for everyone who works and more benefits for those who don't.

I don't think I need to go on........

  14. Obama is a media creation and that scares a lot of us. He is inexperienced and has had many radical figures in his past...

Do some research and you will see why Obama is dangerous for all americans.

  15. A lot of Americans are just shallow, period.

  16. There is a percentage who do that, just like anywhere else in the world, but by judging on Yahoo Answers or 24/7 media, you're not seeing the whole picture.  There are many Americans sitting at home who don't argue on forums or even watch pundit programs who are making their decisions based on issues.  Those type of people don't get broadcast all over the world.

  17. Most of the information we get is negative publicity.

  18. No really that's it. The typical American voter is not anymore sophisticated than that. Trust me. I know. I live in America.

  19. you need to be exposed to more non biased media, and please dont go by what you read on this Y/A forum.
