What's mean 33x15.50R16? 33? 15.50?

  1. It means that with the greater rotational mass and 33" diameter, your truck will accelerate slower, you will be going faster than your speedometer says (it will read low), and you will use more gas (or diesel) than with normal size tires for the vehicle.


  2. To read a tyre size ----- for eg : 215/40/16

    215mm => Width of the tyre ( Part which actually is on the road )

    40mm=> Height of the tyre wall ( From wheel to top of the tyre )

    16" => Is the size of the wheel it fits..

  3. 33 inches high, 15.5 inches wide, rim size 16 inches.

    33 is the tire's overall diameter (it's actually slightly smaller, but, hey - who's counting)

    15.50 is the section width (the widest part of the tire)

    16 is the size of the rim that it must be used on
