Til this day, I remember my two vivid dreams I had one night a few years ago.

My first dream:

(I was doing the laundry. Then I heard my grandfather calling me. He was dressed in black slacks & a black polo shirt. I was surprised to see him. I told him not to move while I call my mom on the phone. I asked him to please speak with my mom. He told her in Greek that he was okay & not to worry. Then he left.) I work up, turned around & tried to go back to sleep.

My second dream:

(I was sleeping in my dream. I heard my grandfather. He came into my bedroom dressed in white pajamas w/ tiny black polkadot designs. He sat on my bed held my hand & looked at me & my daughter [who's about 3 years old & was sleeping beside me]. He smiled at me & her saying, "How are you?" & "she's beautiful & ur b ok. I told him that I'm not sure how I feel as I need to sleep & get ready for work tomorrow. He smiled & left. When I woke up I felt the bed move as if he got up from my bed. Is he watching us?

  1. Wow that would be cool if it was really him in your life helping you. I hope it is never a negative event for you.

  2. It is in dreams that we work out things. This may just be part of your grieving process.

    SC

  3. First off, personally, I believe you and your dreams.  To answer your question, I believe he is, don't really care what the others have posted.  Many people are skeptical until the ENTIRE group has witnessed something together, THEN...MAYBE, they might be believed.

Take what you want from it, I think he was.

    My condolences on your losses.

  4. It would be nice to think so.  It's probably just a very vivid dream - we tend to remember dreams like that longer - but you can take what you want from it.  Personally, I hope it's not him, or someone is warning me about running afoul of vampires in the near future (dream from last week that I can't forget).

  5. Our conscious and subconscious minds overlap while sleeping.  There are plenty of reasons for a loved one to make an appearance in your dreams.

  6. Spirits can attach themselves to one of our senses to communicate.

Usually they come when a loved one says a prayer of concern....have you or another member been praying about him of concern.

Yes they do pop in time to time looking over their family, you said you have a young child.....I bet he looks in on that child a lot, they just do that.

  7. I the field, that is known as a visitation spirit. Apparently he had a positive bond with you. They have been known to come once or twice and never return or they keep coming back until they are satisfied that all is well with the family member. The first could have been a wakening dream but, it being the same person, gives allot to think about.

  8. I firmly believe that people we love who have passed, can come to us in dreams.  My 94 year old grandmother died about five years ago.  I had always felt sorry for her because even though she seemed relatively happy, she grew up in an age of  subordinate women and not well educated.  Shortly after she died, she came to me in a dream, and told me how happy she now was, and she was laughing and gitty.  My sister had a similar dream .  You are blessed to have him watching over you.

  9. I do believe you did have a spirit visitation from your grandfather and that was most generous of him.  It takes an amazing amount of energy and love for him to be able to do that.

I have had that "somebody is sitting on the edge of the bed" feeling several times, but mine is just before someone I love goes "home".

The black clothing changing to white represented the spiritual changes he was going through and his wish to check up on you was actually helping him and you.  I do believe he will be watching over you, but it will be very subtle.  Blessings, darllin'.

  10. It could be that you miss him, and you don't realize how much you miss him.  maybe you talked about him the day of the dreams, so it was in the back of your head.  Or.. there have been many accounts of deceased family members reaching there loved ones in dreams/at night.  now, if you see him walking down the hallway of your house, its definitely paranormal.  but for now, its just a nice story, that can be anything you want it to be.
