Please explain to me the differences between base, foundation, moisturizer.

and please do give me some tips on how to start applying make up. what comes first, second etc....

Moisturize always comes first - assuming you have already cleansed and toned your face. Toner isn't necessary but I always use it. A "base" is what you put on your eyelid before your eyeshadow, so the eyeshadow will stay in place and last longer - you can use eyeshadow primer, concealer, or a neutral cream eyeshadow, or whatever you find works best.

After moisturizer, you put on foundation primer. This protects the skin from both the foundation and environmental stuff, and sets a smooth canvas on your skin for the makeup to glide on and stay put longer.

Then, foundation. Make sure to use the appropriate brush!

The Moisturizer goes first. It helps your skin from getting dry cuz if your face is dry, the foundation will get chalky or cracked. the base helps even out ur skin tons and helps absorb the foundation when you put it on. then you put on the foundation  which helps even your skin tone and gives u that porcelin doll look.

first comes your base which usually is a moisturizer if your face is dry like mine then you would use a moisturizer then base. the base just prepares your face for the make up. you rub it on your entire face. so then comes foundation this is mostly liquid and you apply it to your whole face to even out your skin tones. then comes concealer which is used to cover up blemishes you want to buy this in a shade lighter than your skin tone. last is powder the it comes in pressed or loose form the pressed is applied with a sponge that usually comes with it and loose is just like dust and is applied with a big make up brush when applying pressed powder dont drag the sponge dab it on your face. then if you want eye and lip make up now is the time after its all done.  hope i answered your questions.
