  1. Your pulse rate takes a while to go back to normal because after exersise because as you push yourself your heart has to work harder and after you stop pushing yourself the heart takes a whiule to stop from how it was pumping fast to slow.

  2. smoking lol

  3. If you do a good warmup, and don't exert yourself too heavily, considering your age and fitness level, and do a proper cool-down, it should not take longer than half an hour for pulse to normalize. Don't exercise so intensely that you get out of breath and cannot talk normally.

  4. after exercising for a while, the body needs ever greater quantities of oxygen, this forces the heart to work faster, after a while the body starts to produce energy anaerobically when oxygen levels in the muscles are low, when you finally stop exercising the body still needs to take on plenty of 02 to return it to pre exercise levels, also if you have been producing energy anaerobically the body produces lactic acid and oxygen is needed to clear this and replenish oxygen levels in the tissues.

  5. It depends how good of shape your heart is in, a healthy heart has quicker recovery time.
