  1. maybe you shouldnt promote her at all. let the school see her for her.. she needs to be placed where she should be placed.

*edit.. wow.. haha your kindergarten.. not kindergartenER. got it.

  2. I think you should be asking that question within your community.  Find out what is needed, what is wanted, and why they would or would not attend your kindergarten. Find out what the closest kindergarten to you has to offer.  As a kindergarten assistant for 24yrs, I know that it is not always the school or where it is located.  Sometimes it is the teachers, the lack of transportation, or no after school activities.

Provide extras that no one else has.  Examples would be early drop off for parents that work.  After school daycare (for a fee)   Snacks during the day.   Monthly parents days where parents can visit.  After talking with other kindergartens within your area you may get some ideas.

Send school information to churches, business and families to let them know that you have openings.  I know sometimes there is nothing you can do because of families moving out of the area.   I hope  your enrollment is where it needs to be this year.  Good luck!

  3. Word of mouth

    Fliers or a nice pamphlet

Ads in the Yellow Pages or Newspapers

    Holding an Open House

  4. how is the physical environment? do your teachers have good classroom management skills? Is the environment warm and comfortable. are the kids happy to be there? do they have homework. do you send progress reports home? whats you4r plan for handling disruptive kids.  parent - teacher relations should be positive.parents are satisfied when their children enjoy going to school and they are progressing. if the parent like whats going on at your  school they spread the word.

  5. Run a good school and parents themselves will recommend to each other.

A great reputation is vital if you expect parents to trust you with their children.

Have an open house and give the families a chance to meet you and they can find out why they should choose your school.

    Put fliers on cars.

  6. You can send out some fliers or put posters about what you're talking about or send e-mails to e-mail addresses that don't know who, but put the address of your kindergarten.

  7. Your academic reputation is everything.

(And it will be harmed by things like not spelling enrollment correctly)

Start small and build a reputation for a really top-notch program.  The success of you students will be the best advertisement you can have.

Work very very closely with local school officials so your curriculum is in line with what will be expected of kids when they leave your school.  Have a school that looks like it is where a child should be- bright, engaging.

Around our area, word of mouth is everything.

  8. Good HP

Hold a local event to include the local community

Do a mail drop - flyers in people's letter boxes
